The China Dunhuang Cultural Tour and China-Singapore International Art Exchange Exhibition, a joint art exhibition, opened at Dunhuang Art Museum, bringing together artists and cultural figures from both countries.
The event highlights cross-cultural dialogue through paintings, visual arts, and contemporary expressions, rooted in the shared spirit of the ancient Silk Road.
Dunhuang, a historic crossroads between civilizations, and Singapore, a modern hub of Eastern and Western influences, form the backdrop for this exchange.
The exhibition showcases artistic explorations by Chinese and Singaporean creators, aiming to deepen cultural ties and people-to-people friendship between the two sides.
At the opening ceremony, a commemorative artwork donation took place. Representatives from the Society of Chinese Artists of Singapore and a renowned calligrapher donated art works to Dunhuang's art institutions, symbolizing mutual respect and goodwill between the art communities.
After the opening, the exhibition drew many art groups, cultural institutions, and enthusiasts from China and abroad for viewing and discussion.
