International travel operators explore Gansu to boost tourism

Gansu province recently hosted international travel professionals from countries including Malta and Nepal for a five-day inspection tour. The visit aimed to enhance global exchange and promote Gansu's inbound tourism market.
Organized by the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the tour provided first-hand experience of the region's unique cultural and natural attractions.
The itinerary followed the Silk Road route, covering key destinations such as Lanzhou, Zhangye, and Dunhuang. A dedicated promotional event showcased Gansu's tourism attractions and featured travel products.
The travel agents expressed strong interest in Gansu's rich cultural resources, noting significant potential for cooperation. They indicated plans to bring Gansu's tourism products to overseas markets to attract more international visitors.
This program allowed industry professionals to experience Gansu's rich history, spectacular landscapes, and diverse tourism offerings directly. It has established lasting cooperation channels and injected new vitality into the province's inbound tourism.
Moving forward, Gansu will continue to leverage Silk Road culture, strengthen ties with overseas partners, enrich its tourism products, and improve services to further stimulate international interest and market growth.
