The scenic area became a hub of cultural fusion that evening. Youth from Dunhuang and Kazakhstan presented two performances. Melodies from Chinese instruments like the guzheng (Chinese zither) and the pipa (Chinese lute) intertwined with the vibrant tones of the dongbula, or dombra, a Kazak traditional musical instrument.
Eastern and Western musical traditions coming together created a vibrant cross-cultural dialogue. Participants expressed appreciation for the cultural interaction and Dunhuang's beauty.
Following the outdoor performances, attendees and tourists joined a singing event. Songs of peace and unity were performed passionately. Waving glow sticks that illuminated the desert like scattered stars, the crowd created a moving scene of harmony under the night sky.

As part of the Fourth Dialogue on Exchanges and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations, the Art Week — themed "Remember History, Praise Peace Together" — connected leaders, experts, scholars, and youth art groups from 18 countries alongside talented youth from seven Chinese provinces including Shaanxi, Henan, and Gansu.
Activities included an opening ceremony, thematic performances, an art exhibition, a forum on aesthetic education, workshops, masterclasses, lectures, and study tours. The event served as a global platform for youth to show their talents and build friendships, amplifying the message of peace through artistic exchange.
