"The Gateway to Memory: Exhibition of Archival Treasures in China" premiered during the 2nd Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo, held from Sept 10 to Oct 10, 2017.
Organized by the Gansu Provincial Archives Bureau, the exhibition spanned 300 square meters and featured a remarkable collection of historical documents. These artifacts, dating from the Tang Dynasty (618–907) to the Republic of China era (1911–1949), offered a window into more than 1,200 years of Chinese history.
The display provided an in-depth exploration of the nation's political, economic, and cultural legacy, highlighting the significance of these exceptional archival treasures.
