The 2024 "Bridge to the Future" China-Latin America Youth Leadership Camp was held in Beijing and Gansu province between Sept 18 and 26.
Young representatives from Latin American and Caribbean countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Honduras, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela, participated in the camp.
While in China, they explored historic landmarks such as the Mogao Caves, delving into the ancient origins of Buddhism, and admired the breathtaking desert scenery at Crescent Lake in Mingsha Mountain. The group also experienced the lively atmosphere of Dunhuang's night market, evoking the Silk Road's vibrant past.
The participants also engaged in insightful discussions on the Global Civilization Initiative and enhancing cultural exchanges between China and Latin America.
The event, organized by the All-China Youth Federation, aimed to promote dialogue and strengthen cooperation among young leaders from China and Latin America for shared future development.
