Gansu sees strong rebounds from winter tourism
This winter, Gansu province's cultural and tourism authority rolled out 41 activities to promote winter sports and snow and ice leisure tourism trips.

Nineteen ski resorts in the province, including the Lanzhou Anning Ski Resort, Tianshui Qingjuanshan Ski Resort, and Linxia Songmingyan Ski Resort, have opened to the public. They also put in place measures on COVID-19 prevention and containment. They are focused on developing teen winter camps and parent-child sports games, and offer sports such as cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, snow football, and snow motorcycles.

Many places, like Jiayuguan Nanhu Lake, Jiuquan Liufen Wetland and Wuwei Desert Park, integrated the beautiful ice and snow landscape with carnival activities. Tourists are treated to lantern-viewing, snow tanks, snowmobiles, ice bumper cars and other entertainment as a way to encourage fitness and pursue a healthy life.

With the help of live broadcast, the number of tourists to the province has increased significantly, and the local cultural tourism market has recovered in a seamless manner.
