Flash mob beckons horse-face lovers
In celebration of National Day, volunteers performed a flash mob hosted by the Gansu Provincial Museum in Lanzhou, Gansu province, on Oct 1.

The event was held on the first floor of the Lanzhou Center, which is divided into three areas: a photo-taking area, a game area, and a cultural products sales area.
At the event, the "Green Horse Running" and "Green Horse Jumping" icons, which were inspired by the bronze running horse, received much attention. Many people took pictures on their phones.

Based on the cultural relic of a bronze running horse, which was excavated in Wuwei, Gansu province, the Gansu Provincial Museum developed a series of cultural creative products.
The bronze horse is renowned for its exquisite casting and was recognized as a national treasure by experts of the National Cultural Heritage Administration in 1996.
The museum has more than 1,000 types of cultural and creative products. Seizing on the popularity of the bronze horse on the internet, the museum developed the three-dimensional face mask, working carefully on the details.
