Gansu tourism products debut at 8th Sichuan International Tourism Trade Expo

The 8th Sichuan International Tourism Trade Expo, co-sponsored by the China Tourism Association, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the People's Government of Leshan City, was held from September 3 to 5 in Emeishan city, Sichuan province.
A total of 45 cultural tourism commodity enterprises from Gansu, with more than 600 special tourism commodities, went on display in the Gansu pavilion.
Meanwhile, 76 sets of tourism commodities, across more than 20 categories, from Gansu were selected to compete for the annual award of tourism commodities with Chinese characteristics.

The products displayed in the Gansu pavilion were rich in categories, covering cultural tourism creative products, intangible cultural heritage skills, traditional delicacies, special handicrafts, tourism and living products.
Gansu also distributed almost 2,000 copies of cultural tourism publicity materials to participating enterprises and local citizens, with a focus on promoting Gansu cultural tourism resources, boutique tourism routes, and characteristic tourism commodities, and to further enhance its brand perception and popularity.
Chen Haitao, a second-level inspector of the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, attended the opening ceremony of the expo.
The "2021 Chinese Characteristics Tourism Commodities Competition" and "2021 Chinese Characteristics Tourism Commodities Exhibition" were also consecutively held during the expo.
