Dunhuang Airport

Dunhuang Airport is one of the four civil airports in Gansu province. The airport is located in Mogao town, Dunhuang city, Gansu province (12 kilometers east of the city).
It is an important regional airport for tourism in China, with complete facilities and perfect functions, the airport is the main alternate field of the Urumqi International Airport. The terminal building covers an area of 12,000 square meters.
The airport opened a temporary international aviation port back in 2007, with the Dunhuang Airport Company having been established in July 2004, formerly known as the Dunhuang Terminal of Gansu Provincial Bureau of Civil Aviation, which belongs to the Gansu Airport Group.
