Gansu promotes culture and tourism at the 2021 Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Exposition

The Gansu Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference was held at the 2021 Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Exposition, from July 16 to 18.
The exposition was co-organized by relevant authorities in Gansu, Shaanxi and Qinghai provinces as well as Ningxia and Xinjiang autonomous regions.
The exposition gathered signature tourism commodities from more than 20 enterprises from Longnan, Qingyang, Zhangye, Wuwei, Jiuquan and Jiayuguan. Intangible cultural heritage items such as Thang-ga, Tao inkslab, religious murals and Yugu ethnic clothing were also displayed at the exposition, showcasing Gansu's local cultural style.

At the special promotion road show, held on July 17 during the exposition, executives of China International Travel Service Corporation Limited presented cultural tourism products in Gansu. Gansu's unique Dunhuang dance was also staged at the road show, showcasing the charm of the Silk Road and the mystery of the Dunhuang murals.
Led by Meng Zhaohui, the secondary inspector of Gansu Culture and Tourism Bureau, Gansu's exhibitors delegation was made up of the six municipal culture and tourism departments of Longnan, Qingyang, Zhangye, Wuwei, Jiuquan and Jiayuguan, as well as inheritors of intangible cultural heritages and responsible persons of Gansu art institutions and tourism enterprises.
During the exposition, the Gansu Culture and Tourism Bureau and Gansu's exhibitors delegation handed out more than 10,000 pieces of promotional tourism materials to promote Gansu's cultural tourism brand image and its cultural tourism routes, and giving local people a deeper impression of Gansu's history, culture, landscape and customs.
