The 5th Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo and the 10th Dunhuang Tour-Silk Road International Tourism Festival, which will be held in Dunhuang city, Northwest China's Gansu province on Sept 24-26, have recently started a new phase of preparations, with the organizers helding the first on-site meeting on July 14.

Tian Xuegong, deputy director of Gansu Culture and Tourism Bureau and head of the exhibition group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Those who attended the meeting also included Li Hao, deputy general manager of the Gansu Province Electric Power Investment Group and deputy head of the exhibition group; He Yi, deputy director of the Gansu Cultural Expo Bureau; Lu Yugang, deputy mayor of Dunhuang city; Chen Haitao, director of the Industrial Division of the Gansu Culture and Tourism Bureau; Zhang Guoliang, deputy general manager of Gansu Exhibition Center (Group) Co. and general manager of Dunhuang International Cultural Development Co., as well as representatives from 14 cities and prefectures of Gansu province.
